Online Desk: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a anti-drug drive arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 7,485 Yaba pills worth Tk 22, 45,500 from the Capital’s Jatrabari area on Saturday night. The arrested is Imran Gazi, 43.

RAB-10 Captain additional Deputy inspector general of police Mohammad Farid Uddin said acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Dhalpur area under Jatrabari police station and arrested the man along with the drugs.

During primary interrogation, the arrested confessed that he used to collect drugs from different districts and supplied it to many areas of the country. A case was filed with concerned police station against him under Narcotics Control Act, the official added.
