RAB takes special security measures ahead of Eid-e-Miladunnabi

Online Desk : On the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), RAB has taken special security measures to maintain the overall law and order situation across the country and to deal with any untoward situation. A notification from the RAB headquarters on Tuesday said that on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), in addition to strengthening regular patrols of RAB in different parts of the country, a sufficient number of members have been deployed in plain clothes to increase intelligence surveillance.
Each battalion has adopted the necessary security plan after reviewing the security threats in their respective areas. In addition to a sufficient number of RAB members, skeleton forces will be deployed in advance at various event venues, considering the risks. To maintain security, the imams of local mosques, leaders of social and civic security committees and local dignitaries have been involved in the overall activities.
Intelligence activities have been increased to prevent any vested or suspicious group from carrying out any kind of attack or sabotage. At the same time, a vigilant eye is being kept to prevent any controversial or provocative activities. RAB’s ‘Bomb Disposal Unit’ and ‘Dog Squad’ have been kept ready at all times to deal with any emergency situation. Cyber patrolling has been specially strengthened to monitor information, rumors, propaganda or misleading provocative posts on social media that destroy religious and communal harmony.
RAB has called on the countrymen to celebrate the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) in a peaceful and safe environment. At the same time, if any suspicious person, object or activity is observed, it has been requested to immediately inform the nearest law enforcement agency.
