Trucks movement on ferries restricted for 6-day during Eid

Online Desk: Truck movement on ferries will remain stopped for six day–three days before Eid-ul-Fitr and three after the Eid, said State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury on Thursday.
“Trucks with essential goods and perishable items are out of this perview. Normal trucks and covered vans will be restricted to run on the ferries from April 17 as Eid-ul-Fitr’s scheduled date on April 22.”
State Minister Khalid Mahmud came up with the information after a meeting at secretariat. “As no motorcycle will be allowed to move on the Padma Bridge, so we are thinking for alternative way for its movement,” he added.
