Private university student killed in Dhaka road crash

Online Desk: A student of private university was killed after her motorbike, Pathao, a ride sharing bike, being hit by a covered van in old Dhaka’s Lalbagh Beribadh area on Friday night.

Deceased Sanjida Akter Tamanna, 27, was the student of North South University. Police, however, detained three persons including the covered van driver and Pathao driver.

Soon after the accident, the female student was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where she was declared dead on arrival.
