Online Desk: The government has extended the Eid-ul Fitr vacation for one day on Thursday (April 20). The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting on Monday. After the meeting, Cabinet secretary Md Mahbub Hossain confirmed this to media.
He said, “Considering the people’s smooth journey, the government extended the Eid vacation for one more day.” Now, the five-day Eid-ul-Fitr vacation will start from Wednesday (April 19) as April 19 is a holiday for the Shab-e-Qadr.
The government offices will remain closed from April 19-23.
