Online Desk: A fire broke out at a warehouse of tyre in Chattogram city’s Dewanhat area this afternoon. The fire originated at the warehouse around 12:45pm, our local correspondent reports quoting sources at Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defence, Agrabad.
On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and were working to bring the fire under control, the sources said.
Around 1:45 pm, Officer-in-Charge of Double Mooring Police Station Md Shakhawat Hossain said police personnel were also present on the spot and no casualties were reported till then. Worn-out tyres collected from different areas were used to be stored in the warehouse, the OC said.
