Online Desk: A university admission seeker has been assaulted by some security guards in Dhaka’s Bashundhara residential area. They also shaved her head, the victim alleged. The 20-year-old young woman filed a case on Monday night with the capital’s Vatara police station in this regard.

According to the case investigation officer inspector Shariful Islam of the police station said, “Following previous enmity, the young woman was tortured inside a nursery in Madani Avenue of Bashundhara residential area. Her hair has also been cut and shaved.” The investigation has already been started why and with whom the woman went to the nursery, the police official added.

The young woman lives in a rented house in the Bashundhara residential area under the Vatara police station. She is preparing for honors admission tests.”Following previous enmity, four to five unidentified security guards came to my home at around 8am on Sunday and forcibly took me inside Bashundhara Madani Avenue Nursery. Then they beat me up and injured various parts of my body. They cut and shaved my hair. Later, my mother and sister rescued me with the help of police,” as per the case statement.
