He has been posted as Senior Secretary in the same department. This information was informed in the notification of the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday. Earlier on Monday, the government issued a notification to retire Mostafizur Rahman from government service on May 24. Mostafizur Rahman is an officer of Bangladesh Civil Service. He was the Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet and Dhaka. He also served as the secretary of the Ministry of Lands. On April 2 this year, he joined the Ministry of Home Affairs as the Secretary of the Public Security Department.
