OIC secretary general in Dhaka, to meet PM tomorrow

Online Desk: Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha arrived in Dhaka today on a five-day visit.  Director General (International Organisations), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wahida Ahmed and Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam welcomed the OIC secretary general at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Online Desk: Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha arrived in Dhaka today on a five-day visit.

 Director General (International Organisations), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wahida Ahmed and Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam welcomed the OIC secretary general at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

During the visit, Taha will pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday. He will also pay a courtesy call on Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen. As the chancellor of the IUT, the OIC secretary general will join the 35th convocation of the IUT on May 30. Taha will also visit the Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
