Online Desk: A worker died after falling from an under-construction building in Dhaka’s Mugda on Saturday evening. The incident took place in Green Model Town at around 5:00 pm. The deceased was identified as Rustam Ali, 60.
Quoting locals, Mugda Model Police Station sub-inspector Md Bahadur Mia said Rustam Ali was a construction worker. He died after falling from the top while working at a nine-storey building in the model town area. He died on the spot.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Legal procedures were under process in this regard, the SI added.
