Online Desk: A 5.2-magnitude earthquake rocked Indonesia’s eastern province of Papua on Sunday, the country’s meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said, Xinhua reports.
The earthquake occurred at 13:51 p.m. Jakarta time (0651 GMT) with its epicenter at 18 km northeast of Waropen district and a depth of 48 km under-land, the agency said. The tremors of the earthquake did not potentially trigger giant waves.
