Bus catches fire in Uttara

Online Desk: An empty bus parked by the road caught fire in the capital’s Uttara area On Saturday night.
Uttara Fire Station senior station officer Alam Hossain said, “It could not be known immediately whether someone set it on fire or some mechanical problem caused it to go up in flames.”
The vehicle of Eagle Paribahan used to be operated on Dhaka-Benapole route, he added. Being informed about the fire around 9:50pm, two fire fighting units rushed there and doused it, said Ershad Hossain, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
