Md. Mizanur Rahman has joined as the new police superintendent of Dhaka district. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Khairul Alam greeted him at the office of the Superintendent of Police on Saturday (November 29) morning.
Besides, on Saturday morning, he took over the responsibility from the recently departed Police Superintendent of Bangladesh Police Service Association Ad Hoc Committee Md. Anisuzzaman. Md. Mizanur Rahman took charge as the new Superintendent of Police. He was working as Superintendent of Police of Tangail while Superintendent of Police of Dhaka Md. Anisuzzaman has been transferred and sent to Comilla.
Last Wednesday (November 26), the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification for massive reshuffle and posting of Superintendents of Police in 64 districts of the country.
