Metro rail to operate for 6 hours, from 8am to 2pm from today

Online Desk: The metro rail service has been extended two more hours considering the public demand. From today (Wednesday) the trains will operate from 8am-2pm.
Earlier, the commuters got the service for four hours from 8:30am-12:30pm. At present, total of nine stations are open for metro rail.
MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL), said the metro train will run in full swing from July. According to DMTCL, Dhaka Metro Rail operation till Motijheel may start by the end of 2024, and till Kamalapur by 2025.
