Not Suhrawardy Udyan, BNP to get permission to hold in Golapbagh

Online Desk: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has denied BNP permission to hold Thursday’s rally in the capital’s Nayapaltan. Instead of that, they will allow them to hold the rally in Golapbagh.
DMP Commissioner Khandaker Golam Faruk said, “There are observations of the High Court regarding holding meetings, rallies in Suhrawardy Udyan. We have asked the BNP delegation to set the Golapbag field for holding their rally.”
The BNP is scheduled to hold its grand rally on July 27 in the city.
