Online Desk : BNP’s senior joint secretary general, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, appealed for prayers for the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, instead of crowding in the hospital. Rizvi made the appeal while talking to reporters after a humanitarian program organized by ‘Amra BNP Paribar’ in Hathazari Upazila of Chattogram on Saturday afternoon. BNP’s senior joint secretary general said, “Our leader is undergoing treatment in a serious condition. We are all praying to Allah – may Allah grant her complete recovery.” He said that leaders and activists of the party at various levels are gathering to the hospital to meet Madam, which is disrupting medical activities and causing problems for other patients.
Rizvi also said, “You are going to pay your respects to her out of emotion, praying for her recovery – this is normal. But the treatment is being disrupted due to this crowd. Therefore, I appeal to everyone, please pray for her from your respective positions.” He also said that the family of the national leader has also requested not to crowd the hospital.
Present on the occasion were BNP’s Chattogram divisional co-organizing secretary barrister Mir Helal, ‘Amra BNP Paribar’ convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, member secretary Krishibid Mokchedul Momin Mithun, and Jahidul Islam Rony, member of the National Press Club’s management committee.
