Online Desk : Islami Andolon Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim on Friday has said that a self-interested party is dreaming of coming to power by deceiving the Islami Andolon. He said, however, that dream will not be realized. “We have left the 11-party alliance due to policy differences.” Rezaul Karim made these remarks as the chief guest at an election roadshow organized at Kanchpur Balur ground in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj on Friday afternoon.
He said that even if they come to power, those parties will not implement Sharia law in the country and will not run the country according to Sharia. “This is why the Islamic Movement Bangladesh could not agree with them anymore.” The Islami Andolon Ameer said that the countrymen have recognized those who want to achieve personal or party interests using the name of Islam. He also claimed that it is not possible to ensure the real freedom and rights of the people of the country without Sharia rule.
Noting that the Islamic Movement Bangladesh is moving forward on its own strength without relying on any alliance, he said that the party will remain in the political arena with the support of the people. Mufti Rezaul Karim urged the locals to vote for the Islami Andolon Bangladesh candidate Golam Masih in the Narayanganj-3 (Sonargaon) constituency in the upcoming elections with the ‘Hatpakha’ symbol.
