He said this while presiding over a coordination meeting on overall security and traffic management on the occasion of DUCSU elections-2025 at the conference room of DMP Headquarters on Monday. He said, “The coordinated efforts of all government agencies are very important to make the DUCSU elections safe and smooth. We will be able to ensure a fair and peaceful election by working together.” At the beginning of the coordination meeting, DMP joint police commissioner (operations) Mohammad Shahidullah presented the overall security plan for the elections through a power point presentation. Then, representatives of various organizations present at the meeting participated in an open discussion and expressed their valuable opinions.

Additional police commissioner (crime and operations) of DMP SN Md. Nazrul Islam, additional police commissioner (Logistics, Finance and Procurement) Hasan Md. Shawkat Ali, additional police commissioner (CTTC) Md. Masud Karim, additional police commissioner (Intelligence) Md. Shafiqul Islam, additional police commissioner (Traffic) Md. Zillur Rahman; joint police commissioner, deputy police commissioner and other police officers of various ranks were present in the meeting.

Also present were Dhaka University proctor Saifuddin Ahmed, DUCSU Election commission chief returning officer professor Dr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin, DUCSU Election Commission associate returning officer, student representatives, representatives of various intelligence agencies, representatives of various specialized units of the police and representatives of various government service organizations including the fire service.
