Students of 7 affiliated colleges block Nilkhet for one-point demand

Online Desk: Some students of seven affiliated colleges of Dhaka University took position in Nilkhet intersection blocking the road demanding to relax CGPA condition for promotion in the next year.
Defying rain, the students at 12noon on Wednesday, with a banner, brought out a procession from Rafin Plaza and, later, sit-in at Nilkhet. Police are trying to remove them from the road.
The protesting students said they want to relax CGPA and get promotion in the next year through improvement tests up to three subjects. Additional police personnel have been deployed to avert untoward incidents.
