Cox’s Bazar road mishap leaves two dead

Online Desk: Two young men were killed in a road accident at Eidgaon upazila in Cox’s Bazar district. The accident took place in Chander Ghona area of the upazila on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway around 7:30 am on Monday. The deceased were Md Azim, 30, son of Abdus Samder of Chander Ghona area, and his relative Delwar Hossain, 28, son of Abul Hossain of the same area.
Police said the duo were going to Eidgaon station riding on a motorcycle in the morning. On the way, a Chattogram-bound covered van hit the motorcycle in Chander Ghona area. They died on the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies of the two people. Eidgaon Police Station officer-in-charge Golam Kabir confirmed the matter.
