3 confirmed, 6 suspected measles deaths reported in 24hrs

Online Desk : Nine more people died with measles and the disease-like symptoms in the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am on Tuesday, April 28, as the contagious disease continued to spread.
Of them, the deaths of three were from confirmed measles, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). In the past day, DGHS recorded an additional 1,276 suspected measles cases and 163 confirmed ones.
With this, the confirmed measles deaths and cases stood at 47 and 4,856, respectively, from March 15 to date. The health directorate said it has been recording measles-related data since March 15.
