Hadi’s physical condition stable, another surgery needed : Inquilab Mancha

Online Desk : Inquilab Manch spokesperson and potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency Sharif Osman Hadi is currently undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital. He was taken to Singapore by air ambulance on Monday for advanced treatment. On Tuesday afternoon, Inquilab Manch informed that Osman Hadi’s physical condition has deteriorated slightly after various initial tests, but it is currently stable. Citing Osman Hadi’s brother, the organization said that he needs another surgery. However, his physical condition is not yet ready to undergo such a surgery.
Earlier, on December 12, two men on a motorcycle opened fire on Inquilab Manch convener Sharif Osman Hadi while he was riding a rickshaw in the Bijaynagar area of Box Calvert Road in Purana Paltan in the capital. He was seriously injured in the gunshot wound to the head. After the incident, he was rushed to the hospital. Later, when his condition deteriorated, it was decided to take him to Singapore for better treatment. He was admitted to Singapore General Hospital at 6:50 pm Bangladesh time on Monday.
Law enforcement agencies said that two people have been identified as suspects in the attack. They are Faisal Karim Masud alias Daud Khan (the main suspected shooter) and Alamgir Hossain (motorcyclist). However, the two main suspects have not been arrested yet. Several people have been detained on charges of involvement in the incident.
