BNP’s public rally begins in Chattogram

Online Desk : A major election rally of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman began in Chattogram on Sunday, drawing a huge turnout as the country heads towards the upcoming National Parliamentary Election. The rally is being held at the historic Polo Ground, where a massive crowd of party leaders, activists and supporters has gathered since early morning. The formal proceedings of the rally began at 10:3am with the recitation from the Holy Quran.
The event is being chaired by Ershad Ullah, convener of the Chattogram City BNP and BNP candidate for the Chattogram-8 constituency. Tarique Rahman is scheduled to address the rally as the chief guest.
The rally has generated significant enthusiasm among party leaders and activists, as it marks Tarique Rahman’s visit to Chattogram after nearly two decades. The Polo Ground and key areas of the city have been decorated with banners, festoons and party slogans, creating a festive political atmosphere.
From the morning onwards, leaders and activists have gathered not only at the rally venue but also along surrounding roads, reflecting the strong public response to the event.
