Accused Shikha Akter and Sweety Akter (both aged about 25), were arrested on May 1 and sent to jail by Metropolitan Magistrate Md Abdul Wahab after their bail pleas were denied.

According to police, the women allegedly participated in and filmed sessions where men were stripped and physically abused. Items seized from the location include whips, fetish clothing, high heels, boots, and mobile phones used for recording. The footage was reportedly shared via Telegram and other social media platforms.

The complaint, filed by a man named Abdullah, stated he contacted a woman via Facebook who directed him to pay BDT 500 through bKash and visit an apartment in Bashundhara. There, he witnessed a man being abused by several individuals, including the two accused. He subsequently filed a case with Vatara Police Station. The investigation is ongoing under charges related to pornography, physical assault, and digital media misuse.
