3 India-Bangladesh trains wont run on Eid

Online Desk : Three India-Bangladesh trains will remain closed on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha to resolve the train schedule crisis. The three trains are – Dhaka-Kolkata-bound Maitree Express, Dhaka-Jalpaiguri-bound Mitali Express, Khulna-Kolkata-bound Bandhan Express. This information was known from the action plan taken by Bangladesh Railway on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha recently. According to the plan, the inter-country Mitali Express will be closed for nine days from June 12 to June 20. Besides, inter-country Maitree Express train will be closed for nine days from June 14 to June 22 and Bandhan Express train will be closed for five days from June 14 to June 20.
It was also said that some mail express or special trains will be run under special management on Eid-ul-Azha day. However, no inter-city trains will operate on the day. From 12:00 PM on June 14 till 6:00 PM on the next day of Eid, all other goods trains except container and fuel oil trains will be stopped.
