This year’s winners were selected from 600+ projects in 2020. Nuhash Humayun’s international award-winning horror short film, “Moshari” was released on the Vimeo platform on October 15.

Announcing the news, Nuhash Humayun posted a picture of himself on his Facebook account and wrote, “Honoured to be named Vimeo’s breakout creator of the year!” “Moshari” stars  “No Dorai” actress Sunerah Binte Kamal and Nuhash’s niece Nairah Onora Saif, as two sisters trying to survive an apocalypse. In the film, when the world is overrun with bloodthirsty creatures, the last of mankind perseveres in Dhaka, by spending their nights inside the moshari (mosquito net) — the only known shelter from the unknown threat. The film has won accolades and received positive reviews from various international award programs.
