Online Desk : Dhaka University’s law department’s professor Asif Nazrul has urged the government to resign from power unless it cannot try the killings of students and people during the quota reform movement.
He made the call while speaking at a human-chain formed at the ‘Aparayeo Bangla’ of the DU on Thursday (August 1) morning. The University Teachers Network formed the human-chain expressing solidarity with the students protesting the killings of students and people centering the quota reform movement and attack on DU’s Public Administration department’s teacher Shehrin Amin by police.
Earlier, the Public Administration Department held a rally at the ‘Aparajeyo Bangla’ premises at 10:00am to press home the same demand. Then the Department of Economics held a rally on the same venue.
