Online Desk  :  Bangladesh Railway has arranged special BRTC bus services on important railway routes for stranded commuters as alternative to trains. Public relation officer of the Railway Ministry Rezaul Karim Siddique informed the matter around 9:15AM on Tuesday (January 28).

Passengers will receive a refund for tickets purchased prior to the cancellation of train journeys, he also added. Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Khulna, Cumilla, Bogura and Mymensingh-bound passengers from Dhaka will be able to travel by BRTC buses with their purchased train tickets.

They also come to Dhaka using this services. The strike, initiated by railway running staff from 12 PM on Monday, has paralysed train operations nationwide.
