BUHS students take to streets demanding permanent campus

They stated that the protest would continue until their demands are met. The students took to the streets around 11:00 am, halting traffic and causing long congestion.

The protesters claimed that Professor Dr. AK. Azad Khan is serving as the head of the Health Sector Reform Commission while also holding the positions of president of the Bangladesh Diabetic Association and chairman of the university’s trustee board. They argued that this has led to long-standing mismanagement at the university. The students warned that without a confirmed permanent campus, academic activities could face serious disruptions.

They added that they had formed human chains in front of the campus over the past two days, but seeing no results, they were forced to take to the streets.
