Online Desk : Prime Minister Tarique Rahman stepped out of his Gulshan residence on Sunday morning and told officials waiting outside with a smile, “Let’s go to war,” before heading to the Secretariat for a busy day of meetings. The brief remark initially surprised staff members and security officials standing by for his departure. Moments later, they understood he was referring to the daily struggle of managing the country’s affairs and addressing national challenges.
According to Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon, the prime minister left his residence at 8:42 AM and arrived at the Secretariat around 9:30 AM. Rumon said the prime minister was scheduled to attend several meetings throughout the day. These included discussions with Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon, Education Adviser Mahdi Amin and Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Board Ashik Chowdhury.
