Media Desk: This Eid-ul-Azhar drama ‘Trap’ is being produced based on the story written by young writer Tahira Kohinoor. Shamim Hasan Sarkar and Ahana Rahman played the two lead roles on it. Hasan Rezaul produced the TV drama. Through this, she is going to debut as a screenwriter for the first time.

The drama will air on Channel Nine under the banner of Footprint. Her first drama ‘Trap’ is of crime thriller genre. She said, apart from ‘Trap’, she has written several plays, they are under process.

Writer Kohinoor said, ‘Drama-films are the mirror of a society. In this mirror the image of the society is displayed. A society, a nation can be made aware and alert through drama and film as well as can be destroyed. The tastes of the people of Bangladesh have changed. They are watching good drama now. I am hopeful that their taste will change day by day.

This young writer has been associated with writing from a very young age. In 2019, Amor Ekushey Book Fair revealed herself as a writer by publishing a book called ‘Abayab’ at the book fair. She finished writing his first novel while in high school. She has published three books so far. He also writes short stories, essays and poems with equal skill.

She has written more than four hundred poems so far. Her book of poetry may be published in the upcoming book fair.
