Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, said despite that, Jamaat, the BNP’s main ally, carried out attacks on the police, which were thwarted by the force.

The minister made the remarks while talking to reporters at his residence at Dewanji Pukur Par in Chattogram city today. In response to journalists’ questions, he said on December 10, BNP realised that people are not with them. They only managed to gather around 60,000 people whereas they declared earlier that they would gather around 10,00,000 people. “Since then, BNP has been very disappointed. Their politics is entirely dependent on conspiracy,” he said.
