Bangladesh opt to bowl first against Pakistan

Online Desk : Bangladesh captain Liton Das won the toss and elected to bowl first in the third and final T20 match of the series against Pakistan, as the visitors look to secure a clean sweep. Having already clinched the three-match series 2-0, Bangladesh will be aiming to maintain their momentum and complete a historic 3-0 whitewash. The decision to bowl first reflects the team’s confidence in their bowling unit, which has performed consistently throughout the series. The visitors made five changes to their playing XI from the second match. Parvez Hossain Emon, Mustafizur Rahman, Towhid Hridoy, Rishad Hossain, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib have all been left out—either rested or rotated. In their place, opener Tanzid Tamim returns to the side after sitting out the previous game. Mehidy Hasan Miraz replaces Hridoy in the middle order, while Nasum Ahmed comes in as the spin option in place of Rishad. Taskin Ahmed and Mohammad Saifuddin have been drafted in to strengthen the pace attack, replacing Mustafizur and Tanzim respectively.
Pakistan have made two changes to their lineup. Sahibzada Farhan comes in for Fakhar Zaman at the top of the order, while pace-bowling all-rounder Hussain Talat replaces Khushdil Shah.

Bangladesh already lead the three-match series 2–0 and are just one win away from securing a rare T20 series whitewash on foreign soil. Pakistan, meanwhile, are under pressure to avoid a sweep in front of their home fans.
