Bike rider killed, wife injured in accident on Hanif flyover

Online Desk: A young man has been killed and his wife critically injured in a motorcycle accident on the Mayor Mohammed Hanif Flyover in the city.
The deceased was Shakhawat Hossain Niloy, 30. His wife Rupa, 26, is currently undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). The accident happened when the couple was returning to their Demra residence from Dhanmondi on Tuesday night.
Locals rescued them and took the hospital where Niloy succumbed to his injuries around 11pm. The couple married in April this year. They used to live in Demra staff quarter.
