BMD working on early warning message for all

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in association of the World Meteorological Organisation organised the day-long workshop.

Md Mominul Islam, Director of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) presided over the workshop where Md Ashraf  Uddin, Secretary, Ministry of Defense, was present as the chief guest.

Ahamadul Haque, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and AKM Tahmidul Islam, Director General of Bangladesh Water Development Board were also present at the workshop.

Speakers at the seminar called for working together with journalists in disseminating news and to ensure early warning for all.
