BNP leader Khokon’s bail upheld

Online Desk: BNP joint secretary general Khairul Kabir Khokon’s bail in a case filed over the murder of two JCD leaders has been upheld by the Appellate Division.
A bench led by led by Chief Justice Hasan Fayez Siddiqui passed the order on Monday, scrapping the state petition which sought a stay on bail.
Khokon on June 5 secured six-week anticipatory bail. Later, the state submitted an application seeking stay on the bail order.
