Derailment halts Khulna’s rail link with other parts

Online Desk: A freight train carrying oil from Khulna derailed near Singia Railway Station at Sadar upazila in Jashore around 4am on Thursday.
Following the derailment, the train services of Khulna with the rest of the country has been suspended. The oil tank was heading towards Natore.
Several trains at Khulna and Jashore stations are stranded after the accident. The railway authorities said a salvage train from Khulna reached the accident spot for salvation.
