Online Desk: A female student has been found hanging at a Dhaka Medical College hostel. Deceased Joya Kunda, 22, was student of MBBS fifth year of K-76 batch.
She was taken to the emergency department of the hospital around 10:45am where the on-duty doctors declared her dead after tests.
Partho Junda, who brought the stdeunt to the hospital, said, “We found Joya hanging with a ceiling fan of her hall room with a piece of cloth. Later, rushed her to the hospital’s emergency department.”.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue, said DMCH police outpost in-charge Md Bachchu Miah.
