Fire at gas line in Dhaka’s Wari extinguished, 5 burnt

Online Desk: Five persons sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out at the gas line on Tipu Sultan Road in Dhaka’s Wari area early Wednesday.
The injured were admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. They are Md Sumon, 40, Abdur Rashid, 65, Md Mamun, 50, Md Sohel 35; and Md Anwarul, 21. Four of them are Titas employees.
Eyewitnesses said the incident happened while repairing work of Titas was going on around 2:30am on the street. The fire then spread to a nearby fast food shop. Later, Fire Service members brought the fire under their control.
