Former IGPs Mamun, Shahidul remanded in murder cases : Both arrested early hours
Online Desk : A court in Dhaka on Wednesday morning placed former inspectors general of police (IGPs) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun on a seven-day remand while AKM Shahidul Haque on an eight-day remand in two separate murder cases. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Akteruzzaman placed them on remand at about 7:30am. Mamun was remanded in a case filed over the killing of a grocery shop owner Abu Sayeed, in Mohammadpur on July 19 during the Quota Reform Movement.
