Online Desk : Star midfielder Hamza Choudhury arrived in Dhaka on Monday morning to join the national team ahead of their important Asian Cup Qualifier against Singapore, which will be held on June 10 at the National Stadium. Before the all-important June 10 clash, Bangladesh will face Bhutan on June 4 in a friendly match. It is still not sure whether Hamza will feature in that match. The match against Bhutan could be a special one for local fans, as it might be the first time they get to see Hamza play at home in the red and green jersey.
The Bangladesh team started training last Saturday to prepare for the two upcoming international matches. Hamza, who plays in England and came through the Premier League system, made his debut for Bangladesh in March during the Asian Cup qualifiers against India in Shillong. That game ended 0-0, and Hamza was praised for his strong performance.
