Jamaat representatives said the election would mark a crucial turning point for the country’s democracy, and UN cooperation could play a vital role in ensuring a free and acceptable election in Bangladesh. They also expressed hope for the UN’s continued support in protecting women’s rights, enhancing workplace skills, and contributing to the country’s overall development. Jamaat Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, along with Supreme Court lawyer Mir Ahmad Bin Kasem, also attended the meeting.
