JUCSU voting ends, ballot counting set to begin

Online Desk  :  Voting for Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) election has officially concluded. With polling completed across all centers, students now await the start of the vote counting process to determine the next student leadership. Balloting was held continuously from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday across 21 designated polling centers on campus. According to university sources, the process went on without major interruptions. With polling completed across all centers, students now await the start of the vote counting process to determine the next student leadership. Balloting was held continuously from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday across 21 designated polling centers on campus. According to university sources, the process went on without major interruptions.

After the close of voting, all ballot boxes were secured and transferred to the university’s Senate Building under the supervision of law enforcement agencies. The counting of votes will take place there. Speaking about the process, the returning officer of hall no. 21 said, “We conducted the voting in a festive and peaceful atmosphere throughout the day. Voter turnout at our center exceeded expectations. We are now sending the ballots to Senate building, and Election Commission is expected to begin counting shortly.”
