Online Desk: The communication of Khagrachhari district with Rangamati’s Sajek has been halted after a culvert has been sunk amid heavy rains and landslides.
More than 200 tourists are stranded there who went there for visit. This way is the only way to go Sajek. As the Dighinala upazila culvert has been sunk, no vehicle left Sajek and no vehicle from Baghaihat entered Sajek. Around 200-250 tourists are stranded in the Sajek.
Sajek Cottage Owners Association organising secretary Rahul Chakma said, “We have halved the rent of all cottage resorts for tourists. Those who paid in advance, their money has been returned.”
