Online Desk: Ailing BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been shifted to cabin again from the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Evercare Hospital.
She was shifted to the cabin at about 7:55pm on Friday (September 29).
Khaleda Zia was shifted from her cabin on the 6th floor of the hospital to the CCU on the 3rd floor at about 5:10pm on Friday as her health condition deteriorated.
The BNP chief was admitted to the hospital for medical check-up at night of August 9 last. A 19-member medical board led by Professor Dr Shahabuddin Talukder has closely been monitoring her.
The physician said water was pumped out of Khaleda Zia’s lungs. A catheter was inserted into her lungs. Earlier, catheter was used after two to three days to pump out water from her lungs, now it is being used to pump out water every day.
The 78-year-old Khaleda Zia has been suffering from kidney, lungs, heart and liver ailments.
