Metro rail to operate till 8pm from today

Online Desk: Considering the office goers’ facilitation, the metro rail will operate till 8pm from Wednesday (May 31). Meanwhile, train services will remain closed on Friday instead of Tuesday. This schedule will remain effective from Uttara’s north station to Agargaon.
As per the new timing, the trains will run every 10 minutes from 8am-11pm (peak hours), every 15 minutes from 11:01am-3pm (off-peak), every 10 minutes from 3:01pm-6pm (peak), and every 15 minutes from 6:01pm-8pm (off-peak).
Taking the demand of commuters into consideration, Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has decided to run metro rail up to Motijheel from December.
