Online Desk: A motorcycle rider was killed after being hit by a running truck in the capital’s Panthapath area early Monday. The deceased could not be identified yet.
Eyewitnesses said when the bike rider reached in front of Bashundhara City Shopping Complex around 1am, a speedy truck hit the bike. Then the motorcyclist fell down from his vehicle and died on the scene.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue. Kalabagan Police Station OC Mohammad Saiful Islam said police detained the the truck driver with his vehicle.
