MP Moslem Uddin passes away, PM mourns

Moslem Uddin had been suffering from terminal cancer for two years, said the lawmaker’s nephew Lokman Chowdhury. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Moslem Uddin. In a condolence message, the prime minister said that “Bangladesh Awami League has lost a dedicated leader in the death of Moslem Uddin.” She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved members of his family.
