“Corruption will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” he stressed, warning that any BGB member found involved in bribery or corruption would face strict disciplinary action, including possible termination from service. He emphasised that the BGB must operate within the law, with their primary duties being border security and the prevention of smuggling. He urged the BGB to carry out these responsibilities with professionalism and dedication.

BGB Director General Major General Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, along with other senior officials from BGB Headquarters, as well as Region, Sector, and Battalion Commanders, attended the meeting via video teleconference.
