Online Desk: Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal has said that no national elections schedule will be announced before October, but the polls will be held on time.
“The 12th parliamentary elections schedule may be announced in the last week of October or November first. In that case, polls will be held in the last of December.”
The CEC said these to journalists at the Election Commission Secretariat on Sunday afternoon.
